JMCSA 2015-16
1. The Formal induction and Oath taking of the new union body was held at the COLLEGE COUNCIL ROOM on 26th of February, 2016.
2. The 5th Annual College Week for the session 2016-2017 was held from 9th to 12th of March 2016.
3. Personality Hunt Competition was introduced for the first time during the college week.
4. Best Batch Trophy was donated by the Orthopaedics Department during the college week.
5. Inauguration of the social service centre XOHAI on 4th July, 2016.
6. Medical Humanities – two workshops were held by Medical Education Unit and were attended by students.
7. Plantation around the campus was carried out on World Environment Day, 5th June, 2016.
8. Plantation Society has been successfully reactivated and other societies’ Incharge and Volunteers have been assigned and will be active shortly.
9. A Cleanliness Drive was organized on 14th Aug 2016, which included Teachers, Students, Nurses and Staff taking part in it.
10. Independence Day was celebrated in front of the Administrative Building as well as respective hostels including Nurses hostel.
11. Two Health Camps organized by Xohai and JMCTA at Majuli and Dergaon on 13th of August, 2016 and a 3rd one near Kaziranga on 11th of September, 2016.
12. Wall Painting of the Amphi-theater by dedicated students of JMC in a span of 3 weeks.
13. Three Day Orientation of new students held by MEU was organized from 14th to 16th of September, 2016 and assisted by the students association and students.
14. Bishwakarma Puja was organized on 16th of September’2016 at the Gymnasium.
15. JMCSA Elections for the Association members for the session 2017-2018 was held on 4th October, 2016.
