B.        Fellowship/overseas and Inland Training of Nurses:

1.        Ms. Konika Yean (Staff Nurse) has successfully completed Advance Certificate course in Nursing Administration from Apollo Hospital Educational and Research Foundation, Hyderabad, in 2015.

2.         Ms. Devaprova phukon (Sister.Incharge) & Ms. Noni prova Devi (Staff Nurse) has successfully completed Diploma in Nursing Administration from IGNOU in 2016. Another 25 (twenty five) Nursing staffs are doing Diploma in Nursing Administration under IGNOU during the year 2015 -16.

3.         Eight  numbers of nurses from SCNU have attended training on “Facility Based Newborn Care” & “Observership  of Newborn care” training at AMCH, Dibrugarh in November 2015.

4.         Ms. Konika Yean (staff nurse) has participated in workshop on “Developmentally Supportive Care” in   the NICU,  Sikkim Central referral Hospital, Gangtok on 26th September 2015.

5.         Twelve numbers of staff nurses have been awarded Certificates for participation in “Multi Discipline CME Programme” organized by TNAI branch of VKNRL Hospital Numoligarh on 28th February 2016.

6.         Fifteen numbers of staff nurses have undergone 5 days training on GFATM in Regional college of Nursing, Guwahati in 2015.

 

 

 

C.        Some of the important Events:

            On 12th May 2016, International Nurses Day was celebrated at JMCH, by organizing a meeting with  invited Dignitaries, which focus on the theme of Nurses Day 2016- “ Nurses : A Force for Change : Improving health system resilience”, along with other colorful events performed by nurses.

D.        Professional Service Offered:

1.         Ms. Kalpana Bharali, Asst. Nursing  Supdt. Worked as Peer Assessor for Kayakalp program at Sibsagar Civil Hospital, Demow CHC, Ledo MPHC, and Tinsukia in September 2016.

2.         Twenty  numbers of nurses have rendered services in various health checkup camps and flood camps in different places like Majuli, Mohuramukh , Malow pather etc.

3.         World Breast Feeding Week  2016, 7th August -  an awareness programme was organized by  office of the nursing Superintendent  to create awareness among  Breast Feeding  & Antenatal Mothers of Postnatal ward of  JMCH.

E.        Any other relevant information:

 

1.        One MSW student of Dibrugarh Unversity has successfully completed a Field Work project on Human resource management in “Nursing Service Management” under the guidance of Nursing Superintendent JMCH.

2.        Nursing staffs have donated a sum of Rupees 15000/- (Fifteen Thousand) to the Hon’able Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund through the Principal Cum Chief Superintendent, JMCH.

3.         Two Nurses has participated in State Level National Nurses quiz Competition organized by NNI at Guwahati and one has secured third position in the competition in 2015.

A condolence meeting was held on 15th September 2016 to pay homage by all the employees of JMCH for the sudden death of Late. Anjana Saikia, who was working as Sister In Charge of Post Natal Ward.
