CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Central Library of JMC is laid over 1600sq meter area and is accessible to the students (Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Paramedical students), faculty and staff of Jorhat Medical College.
Library Reservoir:
1. Books: The Library has over 8581 books of biomedical and allied sciences. Both text and reference books are available. Latest books are purchased every year.
2. Current Journals: The library presently has subscription of 58 Indian and 55 Journals of International repute.
3. Audio Visual: About 720 Nos. of CD’s cum DVD’s are available.
4. E- Library: JMC Library is partially automated with SOUL 2.0 Library Software. Data entry of all books and journals is almost ready. For providing effective infrastructure for digital library, 50 computers have been installed in the central library and all are connected to the internet. The Internet facility is provided by the National Knowledge Network (NKN).
