The Department of Community Medicine at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) observed World AIDS Day 2024 on November 20th with a series of impactful events aimed at raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting health rights. As part of the celebration, Phase II undergraduate students presented a thought provoking street play titled "Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Right!" which effectively communicated the importance of health rights and HIV prevention. Additionally a poster making competetion was organised showcasing the creativity and dedication of JMCH students in spreading awareness with prizes awarded to the best entries. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the faculty, students and staff for their valuable support in making this event a success.
