     ii.          Organized World Breast Feeding week form 1st -7th August at JMC with technical support from BPNI, India and received certificate of participation from World Breast Feeding Association (WABA), Penang, Malaysia.

c.      The Community Medicine department commemorated World Health Day, 2016 and organized a Quiz competition on the theme “Beat Diabetes” among Undergraduate Students of Jorhat Medical College on 5th April 2016 (Elimination Round) & 7th April 2016 (Final Quiz)

d.      The World Breastfeeding Week, 2016 was celebrated with weeklong activities like Poster & Debate competitions, Seminar, CME, Community awareness programs etc from 1Ist to 7th September,2016.

             iii.          Mrs. Anuradha Hazarika Medhi, Statistician participated in the pre-conference workshop and attended Second North East Zonal Conference of IAPSM held from 15th to 17th October, 2015 at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
