Activity:
- CME/ Workshop conducted: Department of Biochemistry, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, Jorhat conducted a CME cum workshop on “Advances in Thyroid Health Molecular Insights to Clinical Practice” as a 4thPreconference CME OF ACCLMPCON 2025 on 26th September,2024.The inaugural session included welcome address by Head of Department, Dr. Anju Barhai Teli and opening remarks by Principal cum chief Superintendent,Jorhat medical College and Hospital, Dr. Ratna Kanta Talukdar. The keynote speaker, Dr. Anindya Dasgupta, Professor of Biochemistry, Jhargram Medical College, West Bengal remarked, that Thyroid problems which are increasing tremendously worldwide need a more holistic and patient oriented approach to management as all body functions are affected.The CME commenced with a day-long orientation session, which included talks from eminent speakers from outside as well as across the state.The workshop was conducted on 27th and 28th of Sept and Post Graduate Trainees as participants attended from different Medical Colleges of the State. The aim of the workshop was to give the participants insights into the modern molecular medicine on Cutting –Edge Techniques and developing hands on training skills of the participants.The workshop ended with a valedictory function with the Organizing Secretary Dr. Mainak Roy, Associate Professor offering the vote of thanks.
2.CME/ Workshop conducted:
- Workshop on “Instrument Orientation & Quality Control Basics” was organised on 14th& 15th December 2021.
- CME cum Workshop on “ HPLC Techniques for Hemoglobin Typing and Interpretation” was organized on 10th & 11th May,2022.
