a)     Govt. of India has approved the set up of Viral Research Diagnostic Laboratory in the Department of Microbiology at JMC for tertiary level diagnosis of viral diseases.  Civil construction work has been completed and initiation for purchase of equipments is under process

 

b)    Molecular work has been started with Real Time PCR equipment  as a part of Post Graduate Thesis
